On April 3rd at 3:14 pm, Dan and I welcomed our baby boy Henry Philip Fenn into this world at 7 lbs even and 20 and a half inches long. Our hearts could not grow more and we couldn't be more thrilled. We've planned for and awaited his arrival for more than the 9 months he grew in my belly, and now that he's finally here our family feels complete.
We've hunkered in these first two weeks but as a trickle of family and friends have come to the house to meet Henry, we can't help but smile ear to ear. Every first feels monumental, every hiccup worth recording and my goodness is my iPhone storage stretched to the max!
The Hubs and I settled on Henry simply because we both loved the name but Henry's middle name has more meaning. Philip is the name of my late father and it only seemed fitting our strong and sweet miracle boy take his name.
